This 2 days Tsavo East safari from Diani package departs from Diani Beach and is perfect for those who are already on holiday or vacation there, staying at one of the incredible resorts along the stunning beach. It is a short two-day and one-night safari that takes you on a safari experience in Tsavo East National Park.
DAY 1: Transfer Tsavo East and afternoon game drive
To start the 2- day safari we will pick you up from your hotel in Diani Beach by our safari driver as early as 06:00 hours in the morning. Traveling to Tsavo East means traveling the main Mombasa-Nairobi route. As you approach the park, you’ll see and appreciate the gradual transition from a traditional coastal culture to a semi-arid landscape.
After taking a game drive on the way to your safari lodge for lunch, you will return to Tsavo East National Park in the afternoon for another game drive to look for wildlife. In addition, you will have time to capture breathtaking views of the wildlife and the setting sun. Later, you will head back to the safari lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 2: Morning game drive and transfer back to your hotel
Get up early, around 6:30 a.m., have a cup of coffee or tea, and then go on an early morning game drive over the plains of Tsavo East National Park to look for wildlife, especially big cats, as they emerge into the night.
Following the game drive, you will have a hearty breakfast at the lodge before checking out at precisely 10:00.Then begin your journey back to Diani, Mombasa, Nairobi or any other place you would like to be taken to.
