Ruma National Park is found in Kenya’s Homabay county, near to the shores of Lake Victoria. Although there isn’t much information available about the park, many who have been there will tell you that it is the most rewarding park in the nation. The renowned and critically endangered Roan and Topi antelopes can only be seen in Kenya’s Ruma National Park. The park’s splendor is enhanced by the seasonal valley of the Lambwe River. A must-visit tourist spot is the Lambwe Valley. It is bordered to the southeast by the Kanyamwa Escarpment. You’re in for a surprise if you thought escarpments could only be found in the rift valley. The Rothschild’s giraffe, serval cat, hyena, impala, vervet monkey, roan antelope, oribi, bohor reedbuck, leopard, buffalo, and Jackson’s hartebeest are among the animals that can be found in Ruma. Three newly introduced and reintroduced species with adaptive populations are the black rhino, white rhino, and burchell’s zebra. Ruma is the easiest place to see roan antelope, Oribi, and Jackson’s hartebeest in all of Kenya.
