3- Day Amboseli & Tsavo Safari From Diani Beach: Spice up your beach trip in Diani with a safari adventure. Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest reserve, is about a three-hour drive away. This is a place with a diverse range of species among its untamed surroundings. Although Tsavo East is most famous for its lions, this well-known park also has over 500 different species of birds, buffalo, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, impalas, and zebras.
Amboseli National Park offers a distinct safari experience compared to the expansive grassland of Tsavo. The park’s size makes it simpler to spot game because it is a smaller, more open reserve. The world’s greatest location to see elephants roaming freely is Amboseli. The expansive view of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, frames it as well.
DAY 1: Diani Beach- Tsavo
We will depart early from your south coast resort or Diani Beach, driving to Mombasa and then the picturesque Mombasa-Nairobi highway. You will see Tsavo’s red clay soil for the first time at its southern gate in roughly three hours.
When Tsavo’s vast terrain suddenly opens out in front of you, you’ll know you’re no longer at the beach. This afternoon, there will be an opportunity for game drives with visits at Aruba Dam and Mudanda Rock, two reservoirs that draw hundreds of animals in search of water. Tonight, you’ll be spending the night in the park at the tented camp or safari lodge of your choosing.
DAY 2: Tsavo- Amboseli
We’ll rise with the morning and have a leisurely breakfast before departing the park and traveling to Amboseli Park for another game drive via Tsavo. You will be spending this evening at Amboseli, where you can unwind and have lunch after the drive.
We’ll be walking across the park in the afternoon, beneath Kilimanjaro’s towering peak. In addition to the many opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, Masai giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and more than 300 bird species, there will be lots of elephant sightings.
We can set up a visit to a nearby Maasai village if you would want to meet the locals and discover more about their way of life as herders.
DAY 3: Amboseli- Diani Beach
Another early morning as we eat breakfast and take in the African dawn and, if the weather permits, views of Mt. Kilimanjaro covered in snow.
We proceed back to the Kenyan coast and the Diani resort region from Amboseli, stopping for one last game drive in the park to see the wildlife.
Completely Inclusive: This 3-day Tsavo East/Amboseli safari package includes all ground transportation, lodging in a selection of comfortable, luxury, or economy safari lodges or tented camps, park entrance fees, game drives, meals, and transportation to and from your south coast and Diani locations.
However, please rest assured that your actual safari journey with us will always be of the greatest caliber, regardless of the lodging category you select.
