Chale Island day trip itinerary
Morning pick-up: We pick you up from your hotel in Diani and take you to the mainland departure point, located about 10 kilometers south of Diani Beach.
Boat transfer: You’ll take a boat to cross the channel to Chale Island. This transfer is dependent on the tide; at low tide, you can use the resort’s tractor ferry.
Marine activities: The Tour includes a stop for snorkeling in the lagoon near Chale Island, where you can see colorful coral and marine life.
Mangrove forest tour: You will take a boat tour through the island’s mangrove forest. Stop at the mangrove boardwalk at Gazi.
Lunch on the island: A buffet lunch, often featuring local seafood, will be served at the island’s resort, The Sands at Chale Island.
