SCENIC KENYA 7 DAYS 6 NIGHTS SAFARI

Heading north after a pick up, you pass near Thika and continue north through some breathtaking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. After Nanyuki town, continue north, eventually reaching a dusty outpost known as Isiolo, the last major stop on the journey into the remote northern frontier district. From here it's a fairly short hop to Samburu, arriving at the lodge in time for lunch and then departing for an afternoon game drive arriving back at the lodge as the sunsets.  Overnight at a Lodge on a full board basis. Drive time approx.: 5.5 hours

You wake up early for a thrilling morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve, where the golden light illuminates the savannah and wildlife comes alive. You'll spot lions lounging in the shade, herds of elephants crossing the Ewaso Nyiro River, and the rare Samburu Special Five roaming freely. You'll enjoy a mid-morning brunch in the bush before returning for an afternoon game drive, capturing breathtaking landscapes and abundant birdlife. You end the day with dinner at your lodge, reflecting on the wonders of this unique wilderness.

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast and then check out.  Leaving Sopa behind, travel south through Isiolo, crossing the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya, until you get to the town of Nanyuki. Head north-west towards Nyahururu, before turning in a southerly direction to your next destination, the spectacular Nakuru arriving in the evening. Overnight in Nakuru on a full board basis. There will be a stopover on the way for a lunch break.

Morning and afternoon game drives at Lake Nakuru National Park with an overnight on a Full board basis. The national park, known for its birdlife, offers a possibility to view flamingoes. It is also home to Black and White rhinos as well as the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.

Following an early breakfast, begin your drive to Masai Mara ascending first up over the top of the Mau Escarpment; then heading due south, towards Narok, the gateway to the Maasai Mara and district headquarters of this part of the Masai land. Travel across the "breadbasket" of Kenya, covered with acres of wheat and barley, before you reach the Mara in time for lunch. Following lunch, an afternoon game drive returning to the camp as the sun sets. Overnight at camp/Lodge in a standard room on a full board basis.

After a hearty breakfast at your lodge, you'll check out and begin your scenic drive back to Nairobi, reflecting on the unforgettable wildlife encounters and breathtaking landscapes that made your 7-day safari truly memorable. You arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, concluding your Kenyan adventure.
