Deep Sea Fishing
Deep sea fishing in Kenya’s Indian Ocean is world-renowned, especially along the coastline stretching from Watamu and Malindi to Mombasa and Diani. Primary catches include billfish (marlin, sailfish), yellowfin tuna, wahoo, and dorado
Fishing Seasons
Kenya offers year-round offshore fishing with a brief low season in April and May, dictated by the monsoon winds (Kusi and Kaskazi)
Marlin Season: December to mid-March is the best window for targeting large Black, Blue, and Striped Marlin.
Yellowfin Tuna Season: August to October brings massive shoals of yellowfin tuna, wahoo, and dorado.
Sailfish: Best targeted from September onwards, peaking around November.
