Funzi is one of the Kenya South Coast Islands and located a few kilometres from Bodo Village. This is a perfect choice for day excursions and sunset trips along the Ramisi river and the mangrove forest for great attractions. The endangered species of Sea Turtles are a pride attraction for Kenya at Funzi Island since the habitation is secluded allowing their survival.
During low tide, the sandbanks are a wonderful attraction for people to spend the day sunbathing and swimming but the activity is cut short when the high tide returns.
