10 DAYS KENYAN BUSH AND BEACH SAFARI

Leaving Nairobi after pick up, you travel towards Kenya's fertile highlands and head down the rift escarpment. There will be a short stopover at the Rift Valley Escarpment viewpoint for viewing of the escarpment. Thereafter, continue your journey and pass the impressive Longonot Earth satellite station as you head across the valley to Narok; continue your travels across acres of wheat and barley, before reaching the Masai Mara in time for lunch. There will also be a short bathroom break at Narok town. Following lunch, and perhaps a siesta, embark on an afternoon game drive returning to the camp as the sun sets for your dinner and overnight stay on a Full Board Basis.

Spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before setting off on another game drive. Later visit the Masai Village for a cultural tour. Here you will get to see the lifestyle of the Local tribe and learn more about their culture before returning to the camp as the sun sets for your dinner and overnight stay

Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast, travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasai land. Now travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for herds of giraffes and gazelle as you head up the Mai -Mahiu, before arriving at Lake Nakuru around midday. Following lunch and a siesta, there is an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets. The national park, known for its birdlife, offers a possibility to view flamingoes. It is also home to Black and White rhinos as well as the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.

Following an early breakfast, leaving the Rift Valley behind, proceed to Naivasha for a boat trip on the lake, continue to Nairobi for an early lunch (or picnic lunch dependent on road conditions), and continue south towards Amboseli, arriving at your lodge by late afternoon. Dinner and overnight on full board basis.

You’ll have an early morning breakfast, you will check out and head to Emali Station for the Madaraka Inter-County SGR Train. Be sure to adhere to the timelines, the train arrives at 9:27 am and leaves at 9:31 am to Mombasa terminal arriving at 2:00 pm. Your first-class ticket is included in this tour package. You will enjoy the comfort of your air-conditioned compartment as you travel through sections of Amboseli. The train route is positioned higher than the roadway and offers an elevated view. With its large windows, you’ll enjoy wonderful vistas of the passing landscapes. You will be picked up by our representative upon arrival for a transfer to your beach resort where you will spend your beach holiday. After check-in and freshening up, you can lounge by the poolside taking in the beautiful sights of the ocean and palm trees. You will enjoy a restful time in this beautiful place.

Your days will be spent here on the white sands of Diani Beach at leisure with an option of engaging in water sports. Diani Beach is an amazing sight with a flawless long stretch of white sand hugged by lush forest. We are talking about its overall ambience, scenery and landscape. Diani is an entertainer, and judging from the myriad of activities to engage in here, the chances of getting bored are at zero. There are plenty of activities to do in this quiet, intimate vacation spot. You can try a camel ride on the beach or go kitesurfing, jet skiing or snorkelling, at an extra cost.

At an extra cost, you may also wish to join a boat excursion to Kisite Mpunguti National Marine Park to spot dolphins and other marine wildlife. There’s also the option to visit Shimba Hills National Reserve, the impressive Fort Jesus on Mombasa Island, enjoy a glass boat ride at the beach, or have a canoe boat sundowner cruise.

You can spend the last hours of your journey relaxing. Afterward, you will transfer to Mombasa train station for your journey back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, our representative will either transfer you to your city hotel or JKIA for your flight back home.
